Rainbet baccarat: no decisions, three prices
Baccarat removes the player from the hand entirely — cards are drawn to a fixed rule. The only choice is which of three bets to take, and they are not priced alike.
The versions
Live baccarat is dealt at a streamed table. Speed baccarat runs the same game on a shorter clock. A software table plays instantly at your own pace.
What the three bets cost
| Bet | What it is |
|---|---|
| Banker | Lowest house edge of the three, with a commission on wins |
| Player | Slightly higher edge, no commission |
| Tie | Pays far more and lands far less often |
The hand count is the hidden variable
Because nothing is decided by the player, a round takes seconds. A session runs through many more hands than blackjack would in the same time, which means the house edge has many more opportunities to express itself. Speed tables compress this further — that is the entire product difference.
